Infrastructure and Facilities
Meru Teachers College has experienced significant growth over the years, resulting in a substantial expansion of its infrastructure. The college now boasts 20 well-equipped classrooms and 17 modern hostels to accommodate its growing student population. Our dining hall, originally designed for smaller numbers, currently seats 600 individuals, though plans are in place for further expansion to meet increasing demand.
In addition to academic facilities, the college has enhanced its sports infrastructure, providing multiple pitches and courts catering to various sports, ensuring students have ample opportunities for physical activities and recreation.
Modernization and Social Amenities
In our commitment to sustainability and modern living, the college has upgraded its kitchen facilities with energy-efficient jikos. We pride ourselves on providing a range of social amenities for our community, including a fully operational dispensary, a well-stocked canteen, and a fleet of transport vehicles for ease of movement.
Our well-developed farm is another cornerstone of the college, supporting both livestock and crop production, which contributes to the college’s self-sufficiency and provides practical learning opportunities for students.
